7 Kej

~ October 22, 2021 ~

Today in the Mayan calendar, it is the day of 7 Kej. Kej is the nahuale representing nature, the wilderness and the divine masculine. It is the energy of the strong, majestic deer, standing over his kingdom, surveying the land below, viewing his accomplishments and the great heights to which he has reached, deciding which careful step to take next to bring him closer to his goal. It is the energy of achieving what you need to get farther on your path. Today is a day about being brave and courageous, resourceful and noble. It is a day of leadership: a day of spiritual guides, shamans and priests. Kej represents the ability and intuition to read the messages from above that appear in the natural world. It is a day to connect with the wilderness and the magic of the natural world to bring yourself into harmony.

There are 13 numbers that move through the days of a tracena, or cycle: 1 is the number that is the most attached to the physical plane, while 13 is the one most tied to the spirit realm, or the other dimensions. Think of 1-6 as a journey through the mortal world, and 8-13 as the journey into the Underworld. 7 is right in between; it is the midpoint, the calm, the stasis, the peak of the physical realm. It is the number of death and endings which lead to transformation and rebirth. It is a day of balance, of commitment to what you believe in, and of assertive decision-making.

Today is a day to inspire others, to follow your ideas. It is a day to claim your power, to notice the signs of the universe speaking to you. You may outgrow people and things as you align deeper into your true purpose and divine mission today. Shake off old patterns. Build a new world for yourself. Expand, rise, level up.
